The facilities of the North Shore Jewish Community, Congregation Har El, consist of a Synagogue and Community Centre. The Synagogue is an
egalitarian Conservative synagogue with a deep sense of tradition, following the guidelines of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.

Har El is committed to fostering Jewish identity, culture, education and values
to the surrounding community.
Our Vision:

North Shore Jewish Community Centre/Congregation Har El desires to
be a cohesive community that:
- Shares Jewish works and life cycle events
and a wide variety of cultural and social activities in our Community Centre.
- Is sensitive to the varying needs of our
diverse community, finding ways to bring people together.
- Provides
excellent continuing Jewish education for all.
- Strongly promotes our bond with Israel
and demonstrates unconditional support for the right of the State of Israel
to exist.
