Sunday, October 15, 2023 • 30 Tishrei 5784
6:30 PM - 9:00 PMHar ElAround the world there are some fantastic aged spirits and taking the time to discuss them, while sipping and enjoying, is the best way to learn! An instructor from "Fine Art Bartending" will teach us some essential bits of knowledge in just a few hours. We’ll dip our toe into those pristine waters and note the differences between the major styles you’ll find on the store shelves.
The 2.5 hour whiskey tasting workshop is meant to educate. We will learn how to properly sip, taste, and appreciate a spirit. Have you noticed vanilla or sweetcorn in a bourbon? How about spicy ginger notes in a rye whisky?
Practice makes perfect, which means after 7 samples you’ll have a sense of what really makes up each whisky. Also, how is that spirit made and what is the effect of aging on that distilled alcohol. The next time you are out on the town and you see that whiskey list, you’ll be able to confidently explore an ounce just as if it were a fancy glass of wine!
The workshop will include light snacks.
Don't drink and drive! Please make sure to make arraignments to get home safely.
The workshop requires minimum 10 participants, and limited to 20 participants.
Canceling registration with full refund is possible by Wednesday, Oct 11, at noon. Afterward no refund will be available.
