We want to make sure you know any other families from the Hebrew school who are in the same regular school

The Hebrew School program is an integral part of the Har El community. As such, we see each family whose children attend the Hebrew school as a part of the Har El community. Har El organizes activities for all community members throughout the year. For our Centre to keep organizing its activities, and for our Hebrew School program to keep getting stronger and stronger, we expect Hebrew School families to become members. No family will be denied membership because of financial hardship; Har El has a commitment to accommodate everyone at the level which they can afford.

Families who are new to Har El and are registering their child for the Hebrew School for the first time get one-year membership at Har El for free. After that, a discount of $360 per Hebrew School child can be deducted from Har El membership dues.

   Bar/Bat Mitzvah (Gr. 7) $1055The next page will provide options for payment. If you want to pay by cash, cheque, or some other arrangement, please choose the option to "bill to my account." If you would like to set up credit card payment now, you can either pay in one lump sum or set up monthly installments.

The Pre-K class meets for two hours, but we do offer aftercare for the third hour.

 

Registration Policies

  • The Hebrew School program runs annually from September to June, and families are expected to register for the full year.
  • Late registration is available until the beginning of the Spring vacation; fees will be pro-rated.   
  • In the event of withdrawal from the program, we offer reimbursement for any classes scheduled after the date of withdrawal. Please note that no reimbursements will be issued after January 31.
  • We expect all families whose children go to the Hebrew School to be members at Har El.
  • To host a Bar/Bat Mitzvah at Har El, the child must attend the Har El Hebrew School program or an equivalent Jewish education program for at least two years prior to their Bar Mitzvah. The family must also be a member of Har El. For questions on this topic, please contact our Education Director at education@harel.org
