Join us for this month's lunch with guest speaker Elana Wenner:
The Jewish Museum & Archives of BC: Collecting, Preserving and Sharing the Stories of Jewish BC

Since 1858, there has been a strong Jewish presence in British Columbia. The incredible beginnings of BC’s Jewish journey can be attributed to the strength, tenacity and luck of BC’s earliest Jewish community leaders. Join Elana Wenner, Director of Programming and Development at the Jewish Museum & Archives of BC, for an immersive and animating lecture that will dive into the impressive journeys of Vancouver’s first Jewish community leaders. This engaging discussion will also include a special look at the origins and growth of Jewish life on Vancouver’s North Shore, and the ways in which the stories of the past become relevant to our present and future, as well as the role of an archival facility in preserving community records.
