Guest Speaker Allan Cheskus

Allan is back again by popular demand and for this event will explore the amazing influence that a Jewish Russian immigrant family had on the life of the greatest jazz artist of all time, Louis Armstrong, and his music. Allan will also cover the musical writing team - Yip Harburg and Harold Arlen, who composed the music (and wrote much of the dialogue) for the Wizard of Oz, including Over the Rainbow.
