“Salmon and Aquatic Life in West Vancouver Creeks”

The West Vancouver Streamkeeper Society is helping to protect and restore local fish and other aquatic stocks in the West Vancouver watershed creeks. Mike will talk about how the society fosters and coordinates environmental stewardship among public, corporate and private stakeholders.

Mike is a retired RBC Commercial Banker.  He was born in Prince Rupert, grew up in Kelowna and Vancouver, worked as a banker in the BC interior and in the Greater Vancouver area.  He is a keen outdoors enthusiast - fishing, hiking and skiing.  Joining the West Vancouver Streamkeepers in 2013, he enjoys helping to protect local streams and salmon habitat.  These days he is giving back, and appreciates the natural world that has always been a big part of his life.

This event is by donation. We kindly recommend $10/person.
