The Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) is rolling out a program called CardiacCrash. It is an outstanding one-hour-long program, produced and distributed by the HSF, which explains how to try to save a life when a person collapses due to a CARDIAC ARREST. Above all, it empowers each individual to DO SOMETHING, if a person around them appears to have a Cardiac Arrest.

Shael and Lotti Smith (cousins of Irene Gutmann) have been deemed to be 'facilitators' by the HSF. 

You will be watching an emotional video, where an actor sustains a cardiac arrest and you will participate in a team/game response of what to do in that situation. They also demonstrate how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). You need to wear comfortable clothes as you may be practicing some CPR (no mouth to mouth).
